Found Is Officially Live

After years of dating the broken way — and a year of quietly building the alternative — Found is finally here. A real-world dating app, made in Sydney, in your hands today.

I found you — Found, a real-world dating app, now on the App Store

Today's the day. Found is officially live on the App Store — free to download, with a 30-day trial and no credit card up front.

If you've been here a while, you know this didn't start as a tech company. It started as a tired person with 47 first dates and not one second date, who got fed up enough with apps built like slot machines to try building something honest instead. A year later, here it is.

What Found actually is

Found is a real-world dating app. Instead of endless scrolling through strangers, it shows you the people who already cross your path in real life — the same café, the same beach, the same neighbourhood you move through every day. The right person was often never far away. You just hadn't crossed paths yet.

No swiping. No performing. Just real people, close to your real life.

The best connections were never going to come from swiping at 11pm.

What's new on launch day

This isn't a barebones version-one. The Found that's live today is the deepest, safest, most thoughtful version we've built — and there's a lot in it.

A real matchmaker, not a slot machine. Found matches you on what actually matters — your values, what you want, the life you're building — not just a photo and a postcode. A two-way compatibility engine quietly does the work a good matchmaker would, so the people you meet make sense.

Voice before photos. When you cross paths with someone, you can hear their voice before you ever see a face. A photo invites fantasy; a voice tells the truth. It changes the whole way a connection begins.

Found Daily. One calm, personal reflection each day — drawn from your own dating life. No predictions, no noise. Just a question worth sitting with, so dating becomes something you grow through, not just endure.

Your private space. A quiet place to notice how someone actually leaves you feeling, with gentle insights that are yours alone — plus a free birth chart and an optional deeper relationship reading, for the curious.

Safe by design. This is the part we're proudest of. Verified, real photos. Your exact location is blurred on purpose and locked in a vault only you can open — other users never see where you are. Report and block are always one tap away. And you can permanently delete your account and everything in it, any time. Trust isn't a feature we bolted on at the end. It's the foundation.

Built by one person — with her name on it

Found was built by one woman, from her apartment, in Sydney. Her face is on the website. She answers the support emails herself. When you build something like that — with your own name on it — you don't cut corners on people's safety, and you don't fill it with dark patterns designed to keep you swiping. You can't.

So that's the whole promise: real people, close to your real life, met safely, and introduced with care. If that's the kind of dating you've been waiting for — it's finally here.
